What Is ThriveCart?
ThriveCart which was founded by Josh Bartlett in early 2016, and it’s one of the most powerful shopping cart platforms on the market.

It helps businesses of all sizes convert more visitors into customers with advanced conversion-focused cart features.
As of right now, it still hasn’t officially launched yet, however, we will talk about this in further detail later on.
ThriveCart Features
In some of my recent ThriveCart comparisons, I said that I wouldn’t go into too much detail about ThriveCarts features, as it would take too much time.
However, given that this is my actual ThriveCart review, I have decided to break down all the features thoroughly today and also explain what I like about them.
Conversion-Focused Checkout Tools
ThriveCart offers exactly what you need when it comes to converting a visitor.
- 1 click order bumps
Firstly, we have the 1-click order bumps inside of ThriveCart checkouts. This will allow you to add a little box to your checkout which customers can tick if they want to add the product or service you’re offering in the order bump.
1 Click order bumps make it easier for the customer to buy more and therefore increase sales significantly.
- 1 click upsells/downsells
1 Click upsells or downsells are a little different to order bumps. Instead of pitching a new product inside of the checkout, they bring the customer to a new page where the entire page pitches one new product or service.
What’s great about this feature is that the payment info is saved, so they only have to click a button to purchase which makes it much easier for them. Upsells are after they have just purchased a product, while downsells are after they have declined a previous offer such as an upsell.
- 2 step cart
The next feature inside of this section is the 2 step cart.
This feature allows you to collect contact info from your lead first before they see the price of what you are offering. Why?
If they leave, you can follow up with them and maybe try to add more value to the deal or use a discount to promote it.
- Split-testing
ThriveCart also comes with full split-testing functionality.
Most Cart & Funnel builder platforms don’t allow you to thoroughly split-test your carts. Instead, you can usually just split-test the entire page, not just the carts components.
However, ThriveCart allows you to perform split-tests with elements of your carts so that you can see exactly what’s converting best.

Funnel Builder & Templates
ThriveCart isn’t just a shopping cart platform, it also comes with a visual platform and templates to help you build high-converting funnels.
The one thing I would say is that there are fewer templates than from most other platforms. However, they are so customizable that it doesn’t matter as you can change the look of each template anyway.
Plus, once ThriveCart launches they will probably add more anyway.
Embeddable Cart & Flexibility
Using ThriveCart, you have a tremendous amount of flexibility.
For one, the carts you create in ThriveCart can be embedded into any page you wish. This means the carts you create inside of ThriveCart are never locked into ThriveCart which quite often can be a problem with other carts and funnel builders.
You also have extensive cart customization with ThriveCart, as you can really go into detail with how you want your cart to look.
Advanced Analytics & Predicted Sales
ThriveCart also comes with advanced analytics. It’s not just a case of seeing how many sales you made or how many leads opted in, you can see exactly which part of your funnel converted them.
This allows you to make informed decisions and double down on the elements of your funnel that work best.
It also comes with predicted sales which can also help you get a better understanding of how things are going in your business. You can then also use this information to make more informed decisions.
Affiliate Management
I must say, the affiliate management inside of ThriveCart is also extremely powerful.
Take a look at some of the special features it has to offer:
- Instant affiliate payments
Many affiliate payments are extremely slow at paying the affiliate. The affiliate platform often holds onto the money earned by the affiliate for months.
However, with ThriveCart, as soon as the refund period passes (if any), the affiliate can instantly be paid out.
- Coupons assigned to affiliates
You can assign coupons to affiliates which can have a great impact on conversions too. For example, imagine you have an affiliate called Neil who is a YouTuber, you can apply a discount called Neil10 so that Neil can promote your product to his audience with an exclusive discount.
Then, every time somebody uses that code the sale is credited to Neil as if they used his link.
- Affiliates can use bonuses
Another great feature ThriveCart provides is the ability for affiliates to add their bonuses to their URLs. If your affiliates are offering bonuses and adding more value to the deal for using their affiliate link, the conversions are going to increase significantly.
Doing this manually can be a real headache, but ThriveCart makes it simple.
Advanced Coupons, Discounts, Trials & Subscriptions
Another great feature inside of ThriveCart is advanced coupons, discounts, trials, and subscriptions.
I say advanced because the amount of options you have with these features is a lot more than I have seen with any other type of software.
Here are some of the features I am talking about:
- You can create specific URLs of your cart that have a discount attached to them
- You can create advanced trials i.e 14 days for $1
- The subscription management is advanced (i.e filtering, self-cancellation, etc.)
Tax Calculations & Automatic Receipts
Doing tax calculations can be a real headache and extremely time-consuming, but ThriveCart takes that weight off your shoulders with automatic sales tax calculations.
ThriveCart will look at your numbers and do the work for you. Plus, using ThriveCart you can also send transactional emails such as automatic receipts which is great too, as doing them manually is almost impossible.

Payment Processing
ThriveCart lets you accept all kinds of different payment options from different payment processors.
This includes the following:
- Stripe
- Paypal
- Authorize.Net
- Google Pay
- Apple Pay
However, accepting cryptocurrency is not possible with ThriveCart. I thought I would just mention that in case you are interested in accepting cryptocurrency as payment.
Other Integrations
ThriveCart comes with quite a lot of native integrations for autoresponders, membership site builders, and also physical product stores.
You also get access to the API and can also integrate via Zapier, so even if you wanted to integrate with software that isn’t on this list, that would be possible in one way or the other too.
Autoresponder integrations
ThriveCart directly integrates with the following autoresponders:
- Ontraport
- ConvertKit
- ActiveCampaign
- AWeber
- Hubspot
- MailerLite
- Infusionsoft
- MailChimp
- Drip
- GetResponse
- Moosend
- Sendy
As you can see, the autoresponder integrations do cover the most popular autoresponders on the market.
Membership site integrations:
ThriveCart also covers the main membership site builders with their integrations.
Here’s a list of them:
- Teachable
- MemberMouse
- MemberPress
- Wishlist Member
- Digital Access Pass
- OptimizeMember
Physical product store/Fulfillment integrations:
ThriveCart also comes with physical product store/fulfillment integrations. This could be especially useful if you are looking to start something like a dropshipping store.
This includes integrations with:
- Shopify
- ShipStation
- Disk.com
- Lulu
- Google Sheets
- Kunaki
- Shippo
- Vervante
The reason I mention Google Sheets in this section is that you can integrate so that the shipping data is directly transferred to Google Sheets. If you are using another fulfillment service that doesn’t integrate with ThriveCart, you can then submit the Google Sheets file with the data to fulfill your orders.
ThriveCart Pricing
ThriveCart currently has two pricing plans and they are both one time fee lifetime options, at least while ThriveCart hasn’t officially launched yet.
ThriveCart Lifetime $495
The first pricing option of ThriveCart is the standard $495 plan. Coming at a one-time fee this is a great deal.
You get access to all features ThriveCart has to offer except for:
- Affiliate Center
- Subscription Saver Functionality
- Automatic Sales Tax Calculator
- Intelligent business projections
- JV Contracts
- Advanced User Management
- Client Usage rights
- Custom domain name functionality
ThriveCart Pro Lifetime $690
And, as you would expect, in the PRO version coming at a $690 fee you do get access to all the features you don’t get access to in the standard version.
While the standard version is already a great deal, you should consider picking up this pro version if you are going to go for ThriveCart as purchasing these features separately would cost you a lot more than a $200 one time fee.
For example, a good affiliate management platform will usually cost around $50 per month.
Plus, it would also be annoying not to have custom domains, although you do of course have the embeddable cart. However, if you ever wanted to use the pages you create in ThriveCart, it’s always better to have your own domain as well.
Why The ThriveCart Lifetime Deal Is a Great Deal
The value you’re able to get for a lifetime is insane, especially when you compare it to the pricing of their competitors.
To put this into context, take a look at the starting prices other cart/funnel builder software down below, and those are only the starting prices if you would want the features ThriveCart offers you would have to go for the higher plans and that’s if they even have them which they usually don’t.
- ClickFunnels ($97 per month)
- Kartra ($99 per month)
- SamCart ($49 per month)
- PayKickStart ($99 per month)
Plus, if you were to go for the higher plans with these other SaaS tools, you would usually be looking at around $299 per month.
Even if you went for something like Shopify, just to get order bumps, upsells and downsells, you would be looking at a minimum of $67 per month with Zipify. Now, add your Shopify cost of $29 per month plus the other apps and all the fees, you would end up with quite a hefty monthly bill.
So, in contrast, the ThriveCart lifetime deal is an absolute steal which is why you should at least consider it if you are looking to start an online business or already have one.

ThriveCart Review: Conclusion
ThriveCart offers some of the most advanced shopping cart features on the market at an extremely low price.
In fact, they don’t just offer these features at a low price, but the pricing is also a one-time fee.
The tools inside of ThriveCart simply allow you to make more sales, whether that be through the advanced affiliate management or the high-converting checkout tools like order bumps or one-click upsells.
